"Bat Out of Hell" is a rock ’n’ roll musical based on Jim Steinman’s eponymous album made famous by Meat Loaf. Directed by Jay Scheib, professor of theater at MIT, it opens in New York on August 8 and runs through September 8.  Read the New York Times article here.
