Drawing for Designers

Drawing by hand through direct observation is a fundamental skill for architects, artists and designers. In this class, students will explore drawing as a process; as a route to understanding space and an activity to encourage careful observation. By creating drawings of a figure model using a variety of media, students will investigate the figure/ground relationship while dealing with tone, line and composition.
