Megan Gould (violin) and Eleanor Norton (cello) will help you develop a set of tools that sets you apart, employing traditional classical skills such as strong sight-reading and technique, while incorporating your interest and knowledge in other areas and styles of music. 
 
Bring your instruments. Vocalists and instrumentalists will have opportunities to participate in this masterclass.

About the Artists
 
Violinist Megan Gould is one of NYC’s most versatile performers of Middle Eastern, Greek and popular music. Her comfort within a wide range of music and her soulful improvisations make her a sought-after artists around the world. Megan holds a Master’s Degree in Ethnomusicology with a concentration on the Middle East. She has performed and/or arranged music for such artists as Silk Road Ensemble, David Byrne, Natalie Merchant, Fabian Almazan, Philip Glass, and Chris Martin, among others. 
 
A graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Music, Eleanor Norton is an internationally renowned cellist known for her versatility and lyricism. From Adele to Jay Z, from Coachella to Saint Denis, Eleanor appears with a coteries of artists across genres and platforms. She regular performs in Broadway orchestras, network television shows, and with major pop artists such as Beyoncé, Elton John, and Christina Aguilera. Jazz artist collaborators include Christian Sands, Cassandra Wilson, and Fabian Almazan.
