Matthew Schumaker’s music engages in research into computer-assisted composition and real-time, interactive computer music with live performers. He received a doctorate in Music Composition from UC Berkeley in August, 2015.
A presentation on two new works for instruments and live electronics composed during Schumaker’s term as an MLK Visiting Scholar in MIT’s Music and Theater Arts Department.
