Founded in 1992, the Continuum concert series highlights the concept that dedication to musical excellence can be a lifelong avocation for musicians at all levels of proficiency. Continuum involves selected local middle and high school bands, various New England university bands, and the MWS in educational interaction and outreach. Hosted by MIT, Continuum 2016 will feature the Foxboro High School Wind Ensemble, conducted by Stephen C. Massey, the MIT Wind Ensemble, conducted by Frederick Harris, Jr. and Kenneth Amis, and the Metropolitan Wind Symphony, conducted by Lewis J. Buckley.
