The motion picture art of filmmaker Kate Matson screened with an improvised score by the ensemble: Mark Harvey, trumpet, music director; Peter Bloom, Phil Scarf, Dan Zupan, woodwinds; Bill Lowe, trombone, tuba; John Funkhouser, piano, bass; Jerry Leake, percussion. The premiere of a new Harvey composition commissioned by FiLmprov will also be featured. Presented in conjunction with 21M.355, Musical Improvisation, taught by Mark Harvey. 7:30pm, Killian Hall.
