Always been interested in dance but never knew where to start? Want to upgrade your head bops and awkward hops with some bounce, rock and groove? Looking for a welcomeing space to learn the basics or brush up your skills?
Well, look no more. Introducing Groove@MIT ~ An event celebrating the five pillars of Hip-hop: MCing, Dance, Knowledge, Tagging, and DJing! A hip-hop fundamentals workshop + block party by the students of 21M.861, performance Anylysis and Technique of Hip Hop. A live DJ, free food, and chill end-of-semeter vibez.
All LEVELS OF DANCE EXPERIENCE are welcomem (absolute beginner through advance). Pull up to W97 Black Box on Saturday May 13 @6:30pm and Sunday May 14 @6pm for the party!
