IMBN! is a multi-year project culminating in a large-scale immersive work for MIT musicians on May 7th, 2022. Part of the Center for Art, Science & Technology’s (CAST) Sounding Series, It Must Be Now! brings together MIT ensembles with three leading musical artists of their respective generations. This event features the premiere of a work collectively composed by Cook, Carrington, and Jones, with multimedia artists, addressing racial and social injustices and their confluences.
