About the Performer
Larry Wang (G) is a masters student in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, currently studying the simulation of instrument acoustics under Professor Justin Solomon. His mom made him go to piano lessons in preschool, thanks mom! This is his fifth year playing with the MIT Festival Jazz Ensemble and his third year with the MIT Video Game Orchestra. He currently studies with Professor Alain Mallet at Berklee through the MIT Emerson Fellowship Program. He is very grateful for the amazing people he has met through music at MIT, including the wonderful musicians and friends who join him onstage today, and hopes you enjoy the show!
