About N. Vijay Siva
Born to Smt. Akhila Siva and Shri. A.N. Siva on 29th March 1967, he had his schooling in Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School, Chennai and graduated from Vivekananda College, Chennai. After initial training in vocal music from his mother, a gold medalist from Carnatic Music College herself, he came under the tutelage of Shri. D.K. Jayaraman 1977 and later continued to take expert guidance from Smt. D.K. Pattammal. He has also trained in mridangam under Shri. Kumbakkonam Rajappa Iyer and his disciple Shri. Srirangarajapuram Jayarama.
