Under the direction of Kira Daglio Fine, The Young Lions Jazz Orchestra is a 16-piece jazz ensemble comprised of some of the best emerging artists in the New York area. The group offers a fresh and exciting approach to the big band format by placing an emphasis on original compositions and arrangements. Their repertoire draws heavily from the swing tradition and Latin rhythms, as well as a wide selection of influences— from Ellington to Chick Corea to Jorge Drexler and beyond.
