"The Weavers," is a new extended reality (XR) action-film-inspired performance based on Gerhart Hauptmann's 1912 Nobel Prize-winning play, centering a community of textile workers and their bosses whose understanding of labour, sense of faith, and humanity, is pressed to the brink by the unstoppable march of mechanization, automation, and the free-fall-collapse of empathy. #willAItakemyjob
