MIT Wind Ensemble: Third Annual Prism Concert Spectacular

Light passing through a spectrum of music for large and small ensemble

Works for full wind ensemble and for brass, percussion, and woodwind chamber ensembles are featured on this unique amalgam of music and special lighting. Guest musicians from Medfield and Norwood High Schools and the Chenery Middle School (Belmont) will join MITWE in a program featuring the music of Holst, Ives, Grainger, and Hindemith's Symphony in B-flat. Chamber music from the 16th century to the 21st century is also featured, including Kurt Weill's Little Threepenny Music.
