Join Lamine Touré and Rambax MIT for an informal showcase of Senegalese sabar rhythms and dance. Three rhythms will be presented during the showcase, combining both in-person and virtual Rambax drummers who have been playing together this semester despite the challenges of communal drumming during the pandemic. The rhythms will include Kaolack, Farwu Jar, and Leumbeul.
