Biography:
Caroline Collins is an enthusiastic music administrator and soprano based in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to her work at MIT, she serves as the Operations Manager for the Boston Public Quartet (BPQ), where she works to foster connections within the Boston community by spotlighting historically excluded composers and providing accessible concert experiences.
Alongside her work with BPQ, Caroline has collaborated with various music organizations, including Cherry Street Music and renowned composer Joachim Horsley, among others. Her diverse experience in music administration and performance has allowed her to build strong ties within the music community. Her passion for collaboration has also led her to producing workshops with Michael Mayo, Cheryl Porter, Dr. LaMarcus miller, and more.
Caroline earned her Bachelor of Music Performance from Pennsylvania State University in 2022, where she not only honed her skills as a vocalist but also showcased her leadership abilities by directing Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro and the world premiere of A Correspondence from Mrs. Sacks, an opera composed by Leah Mullen.
In her free time, Caroline enjoys hosting trivia nights and baking for friends and family, balancing her professional pursuits with her love for bringing people together in fun and creative ways.
