Ziporyn pays tribute to the late David Bowie by transforming his final album, Blackstar, into a cello concerto for acclaimed virtuoso cellist Maya Beiser, backed by Ziporyn's own Ambient Orchestra.  The project originated at MIT in 2017, co-sponsored by MTA & the Center for Art, Science & Technology - it has since traveled across the US, to Europe & Australia.
